The house has several good points, including house is quiet and clean, light is bright, location is convenient, shower water is strong enough, having free parking space beside the house, the kitchen supplies are very sufficient and all the cooking supplies are very new, the landlord is very friendly and helpful. Especially, the house has delicate design, there are also have several green potted plants in the room that making us more relaxing.

We had the apartment and it was clean and really nice, with a little kitchen and bathroom everything was nice. The fact that they close the outside lights so you can enjoy the northen lights is a real plus.

Set in the quiet countryside of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, this family-run guest house is 45 minutes’ drive from Stykkishólmur town centre. The new building next to the main one is much better in terms of quality, bedding and coming with a private bathroom. Breakfast is included pretty decent considering such a remote area, The price is very attractive although its located 2 miles off Hwy 54., no big deal. Staff is friendly.

Located in the country side, Hotel Stundarfridur offers accommodation 12 km from Stykkishólmur. This property provides guests with a terrace. There is also a restaurant and a shared lounge. We liked everything during our stay! The guesthouse is located in a very beautiful place, and we could observe it while eating breakfast in a spacious hall with big windows :) Everything was super clean, the interiors are very cosy and designed thoughtfully. The hostess that greeted us was really kind and nice :) Worth to mention that it is one of few places that accepts travellers with pets, while the price is still affordable. Thank you for everything, it was a super cosy place where we would gladly stay again!
