Sunhill Portico is a hotel with exceptional precision down to the smallest detail. The friendly staff ensures that everything works optimally at any time. The breakfast is lovely. When I left some items at the hotel after departure, the staff tried to do everything they could to contact me. I didn't see it until later but when I contacted the hotel they sent me what I had forgotten in the mail. I am very grateful and would recommend this hotel either as a base for exploring northern West Bengal and Siliguri or as preparation for a journey further up the Chicken's neck.

Beautiful resort at the banks of river Hooghly. Such beautiful setting with lot of greenery- feast for your eyes. Exemplary hospitality by the staff. Excellent food .Enjoyed the food and ambience of restaurants - Shamiana and House of Mingh. Enjoyed the stay. Waiting to go back.

Very well appointed rooms, every detail covered. The food in the restaurant was fantastic and the waiting staff were excellent. Cannot recommend this hotel enough, it is faultless.
