The property was a very charming and well maintained old building. Its location at the base of the Eger Castle and around the corner from the main square made sightseeing and dining excursions easy. Both the location and quaint courtyard also provided a quiet retreat when needed. The unit itself was very clean and nicely furnished with original artwork on the walls. The host was exceptionally welcoming, accommodating, and helpful. We would love to stay here again.

The breakfast has a pretty good selection even though the hotel itself is smaller. They could prepare the room earlier than the actual check in (for an extra charge).

They changed us to another hotel so close to that one because they had a problem on it, but the new one was even better! Everything was so luxurious, they had even a jacuzzi and a sauna. We went to ski but it was no snow, so we stayed a lot of time in the hotel enjoying it. Personal was also very nice! It was such a lovely place. :)

Set in Mátraszentimre, Selfness Hotel Vadvirág Mátraszentimre offers a bar. Offering a restaurant, the property also has a shared lounge, as well as a sauna and a hot tub. I can feel staff are trying to helpl and really friendly but they dont speak english which makes complicated in communication. Like i dont know what is included and what is charged even though i can feel they are honest but just i dont understand what was charged. Also i left message no need for dinner in room on my arrival day, i guess they are nice or dont understand my message, they still put dinner in my room and was wasted. I appreciate the gesture, but just check the message and that is not neccessary. No harsh feeling, just totally can be avoid misunderstanding
