The hotel is right in the centre of the village with a great view from the terrace where you can enjoy food and drinks from the hotel. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable and private. The host was really friendly, chatty and welcoming. He was very accommodating towards us and really makes his guests feel at home. You can enjoy food and drinks on the terrace with a spectacular view.

Hotel Machalas is a large complex of apartments. It is located in Kipoi village which is in central Zagori. The complex’s traditional architecture is based on wood and hand-hewn stone. We loved the location, decor, and ambiance of this jewel in the mountains. It’s an excellent spot to see several bridges within walking distance and to use as a base for driving to see other towns and bridges. The owners are lovely people who also have a restaurant across the street that offers dishes from the area. It will remain one of our fondest memories of Greece.

Our host was incredibly attentive and thoughtful, making us feel right at home. The views are simply stunning, and we loved being within walking distance of local restaurants while still enjoying the peace of the mountains. Just a 15-minute drive brought us to the breathtaking panorama of Vikos Gorge. The nearby villages, rich in ancient traditions, made the experience truly unforgettable.
