It’s absolutely beautiful inside and out. When you walk in there is a little market with fresh local fruits, milk, meat and cheese, wine and beer and snacks. Locally made artwork and souvenirs. It snowed our day of arrival and our host graciously provided us sleds and toboggans. You can actually see Neuschwanstein out in the distance among the Mountain View’s. It was a 15 minute drive to the castle parking. It was our best air bnb in all of Europe.

Located within 28 km of Museum of Füssen and 28 km of Old Monastery St. Mang in Tannheim, Living Mountain Tannheim features accommodation with seating area. Everything from the overall layout to the comfort of the seating to the bathroom and warmth. We stayed there in the latter half of October but if anything found the apartment too warm, even with the heating set to off! It was large enough with everything you need from kettle and toaster to coffee machine and microwave.

Featuring mountain views, Appartement Pension Strolz features accommodation with free bikes, a garden and barbecue facilities, around 7.7 km from Train Station Lermoos. It might seem that I exaggerate, but we really had the time of our lives!! Thanks to the hotel, Simon, and the beautiful area. Me (27M) and my girlfriend(23F) could not have found a better place. We were well prepared (or so we thought) and knew exactly what to do, where and when, until we met Simon. He was super friendly and helped us refine our activities with secret local spots and choosing the right day for each activity. For my girlfriend and me this was perfect. (Even if you are not so well prepared Simon will point you towards all the gems exactly tailored to your wishes.) The appartment itself is super clean and recently renovated (while keeping the rustic alpine style). We loved the cozy wooden interior and the bed was very comfortable (including the pillows!!). I almost forgot the great view, see the photo. The location directly at the Fernpass road B179, was ideal for us. We had many things planned such as Zugspitze, Neuschwannstein, Drachensee, Partnachklamm, Breitachklamm and canyoning, which were all within 1h driving (many even much less). This was ideal for us and made a super action packed, beautiful vacation possible for us. Last but not least Simon made a custom mountainbike loop exactly to my wishes, which was one of the coolest (and hardest, cardio wise) experiences I have had in a while, completely for free. He has an amazing collection of bikes which you can borrow for free. With that I would like to conclude that I can only very much recommend staying here. Best wishes, R & E

Situated in Ehrwald, 5.1 km from Train Station Lermoos, Villa Buchenhain features accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. It was perfect stay of 3 nights. The hosts are very nice. The location is perfect - only 3 minutes from Spar supermarket and 5 minutes drive from tge gondola. The pool ans wellness are amazing, clean and nice. Warmly recommended.
