I stayed at the Silo Hotel for 3 nights and had a fantastic experience. The building, originally a cacao factory from 1912, is modern and unique, creating a great atmosphere. Check-in was easy, and I received a Basel card for free transportation and discounted gallery entries, which was a nice bonus. The location is excellent, close to shops, including a large Coop market, and a German train station for travel. There are also nearby bus stops and a park by the river. My room was spotless, and the breakfast was outstanding. The staff was incredibly helpful 💜 I absolutely loved the co-working spaces and the relaxing area filled with plants, books, and cozy furniture. They are incredibly eco-friendly as well. Definitely highly recommended!

Situated in the centre of Basel's Old Town, on the banks of the Rhine, Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois is one of Europe’s oldest city hotels, where such personalities as Napoleon, Elizabeth II, Pablo... Lovely property with ornate design everywhere. Very gracious staff at every location waiting to direct or help. Wonderful river lounge for getting a drink and relaxing. The breakfast was one of the very best I have had the pleasure of. The room was very comfortable and quiet although we were on the city side by the trams.

Location was a little further from town but well connected by bus, able to reach the old town/train station in about 20min. Overall, a comfortable stay at a good price (relative to other hotels).
