Alara Motor Inn is a 4-star motel situated on the Bruce Highway in Mackay and features a licensed restaurant. It is 5 minutes' drive from Mackay's town centre, Mackay Airport, beaches and amenities. I love the level of effort they go to for pets. Providing cleaning products for any accidents, Treats and a bowl of water. Rooms are clean and the large carport is wonderful for those very hot or, in our case, very very wet day.

Naomi, the receptionist, is very kind and always willing to help with whatever you need. The place is quiet, ideal for resting. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Rooms were way bigger than I expected and extremely clean, beds super comfy and nice touch with the complimentary continental breakfast. Loved the outlook from my little balcony. Nice and close to town and super handy having the pub and bistro next door where I had the best crispy altlantic salmon I've had in a long time. Will definitely be back!
