We stayed there in the latter half of October but if anything found the apartment too warm, even with the heating set to off! It was large enough with everything you need from kettle and toaster to coffee machine and microwave.

The room was spacious and beautiful, the view was spectacular. The food was delicious and very nice service. Attention to details, we travelled with a baby and we had everything we needed in the room (changing table, cot) Very easy to walk around with a stroller (winter walking trails were prepared)

Opened in May 2016 and offering a rooftop spa area overlooking the surrounding mountains, Ferienwohnungen Guthof is situated in Schattwald, 150 metres from the Wannenjochbahn Cable Car. The location was amazing, the layout of the rooms made you feel like you had come home, we have a 2kg mini dog and they didn't try to give us a different room for her like many other hotels did, they are thurly animal friendly hotel. The hosts were very professional, polite and helpful. The house is in a small hamlet but not far from the main village. it is few meters from wonderful bike trail that goes by the river throughout the valley. The rooms are modern and well equipped. Views from balcony are amazing.
