This property made it hard to leave Attersee. I adored the staff as well as the property. The parking is free, located in the front of the property. The bikes available for borrowing were a nice addition, too. If you prefer E-bikes, I would recommend renting them in the village. The breakfast was amazing, and I enjoyed having an assigned seat, I recommend the dinner, there is no need to go anywhere, as the staff provide a 4-course meal and one night, the Austrian buffet was great after hiking 30km. The property is kind to dogs, and there's a great walking path nearby. The room was spacious, with a spa shower and a beautiful terrace, overlooking the forest behind. I will forever adore the Attersee.

Absolutely stunning location for the price. Room had a balcony that looked over the lake. Staff was incredibly friendly and helped me jump my car which had a dead battery.

Seehotel Föttinger has a garden, private beach area, a shared lounge and terrace in Steinbach am Attersee. Staff and the service was fantastic. We would highly recommend staying here. The location is amazing, right by the lake. You can do some lovely walks into the hills and around / on to the lake. You are in a great location to explore the other lakes near by, cable cars, waterfalls etc. it's a great base. The food and drinks at the hotel are delicious and I would highly recommend booking a table as it does get busy. We were here for 3 nights so after 2 nights we did eat out and there is an amazing brewery just up the road opposite who have a terrace and a lovely bar. They sell the local plum flavoured beer highly recommended. They also have a play area for the children it's literally a 5 mins walk maybe less. It's a lovely walk into steinbach village along the little paths and lanes to the church. There is a tourist information, play park and a nice Italian there too. The sunlougers by the lake are very comfy and we didn't struggle to get one. It was shame there was no where to get a drink at the lake. It looks like there is a little cafe for the camp site but it was not open. The flower gardens are beautiful, very well looked after. Everything was very clean. Lots of car parking spaces. The lake view room we had was spectacular. We added on an extra night as we loved the area so much and moved to a different room. This had a mountain view, which you could still see the corner of the lake. It was a bigger room and very comfortable. We would happily stay in either room again. The views were both great, the beds and sofas were also very comfy in the room. Nice touch having the umbrella for the unpredictable weather. We would certainly look to visit again.
