Room was really big and had a perfect view from the window of the Xmas light switch on which was perfect with a toddler. Walking distance to the cave attraction and a short drive to the castle. The town was lovely to walk around. Staff really helpful, we forgot to pre-book the cot but they bought it straight up. Did not catch the staff members name, but the gentleman who was on reception most nights on the stay was great Parking on site.

Room and service was ok. Breakfast was very great - you have different choices, food very good and enought, some local things to eat. When we travel for some years, it was our best breakfest that we spot in hotel. Room and private bathroom clean. Free parking spot. 5 min walk to bars and restaurant and to playground for children.

In beautiful nature and landscape, the host received us like family. The room was very simple,yet we had everything. Even bigger surprise came in the morning. We wanted to have just coffee, but enjoyed the breakfast hall so much, and so long, that we ended up having breakfast out of delicious homegrown produce and homemade juice, bread, yoghurt. We loved sitting under the cooling shade of vine, and chatting with extremely kind host. The most incredible experience on this trip, and we want to enjoy the hospitality of The Janezinovi, and their fantastic food and atmosphere!

Samson and the Lilo offers exactly what it says on the website and more. We stayed there for one night, but both hosts, together with their dog, welcome guests like someone they've known for a while. This energy of theirs coincides with the wonderful place where the accommodation is located. The rooms in which you stay, with certain details, give the impression that the hosts have thought of all our needs while staying with them. And our dog was welcomed with treats and happy faces. We will be back, that's for sure.
