We had a wonderful time at Clarion Collection Hotel Packhuset. The room was clean and large and the bed was very comfortable. We really liked the presence of a rich buffet for breakfast and dinner, as well as coffee with cake every afternoon. We also profited from the gym and the sauna, which are available for guests.

Housed in a building from the 1800s, this hotel is less than 10 minutes’ walk from Kalmar Castle and the popular Kvarnholmen shopping district.

The room was big, with comfortable chairs to relax in. Large bathroom too. Excellent breakfast, everything very fresh, with good selection. Friendly and helpful staff. There are walking paths for those that enjoy longer strolls.

Town centre and a couple of minutes walk from the sea and small town beach. Walking distance to food, water, shops and train/ bus station. Helpful staff, good facilities. We enjoyed the pool and the gym Sauna is not on all day so need to time it if you want to use sauna. We went in winter and it was rather quiet, especially during the week.

This hotel is just 5 minutes' drive from both Kalmar Central Station and Kalmar Airport. Guests enjoy free WiFi internet and pool and sauna access.

The hotel was very well equipped and clean. We booked Scandic because it is pet friendly and the staff were so kind to our big dog - even giving her a little gift bag for her stay.

The room had air conditioning and the bed was very comfortable. There was bowls and treats for our dogs in the room. Nice location for travellers with dogs. Great breakfast.

This hotel is definitely a gem of Öland. Very cosy, spacious and tidy room, great shared space with well-equipped kitchen. The personnel is super friendly. We had a nice dinner in the restaurant with traditional dishes cooked according to the recipe of the owner's family. A cold bottle of prosecco was delicious too. The breakfast was tasty and the restaurant is lovely. Perfect quality for the money.
