Beautiful location, cosy cottage on an avocado orchard. The hosts Steven and Annie were so lovely to us, their local knowledge of the area was very useful and they were so kind, welcoming us into their home for an evening sip or two and on our final night they took us to their local boat club, we were then farewelled with a bag of delicious avocados!! Amazing value for money, beautiful location, but you will need a car, Katikati township was about a 10 minute car drive. This is a great base if you want to do some sightseeing 😊

We had an amazing holiday here! The alpacas were right in front of our cabin, and the highlight of our stay was patting and feeding them. The cabin itself was clean and comfortable, the host was incredibly friendly, and the view was absolutely perfect.

Joanne and Neil are incredible hosts! We stayed for three nights, and honestly, we would have loved to stay longer. They own a little slice of heaven and are so generous in sharing it with others. If you love animals and nature, this is the perfect spot for you. Every morning, we had the pleasure of feeding the Alpacas and Goats. We also got to meet Bear, the official welcoming dog, and even had a chance to feed the goldfish. It’s truly an amazing place to visit! Everything you need is right there. The cabins are clean and tidy, and it’s clear that Joanne and Neil genuinely care about their guests’ comfort and enjoyment. We even took advantage of the BBQ a couple of nights, relaxing under the open skies filled with stars—such a delightful experience. Thank you Joanne and Neil, we are more than happy with how this little trip went. Javiera will miss to see the Alpacas every day.

Ah, we loved this place, especially Ken and Maureen our wonderful hosts who lived upstairs. They didn’t disturb you at all but if you wanted a chat they were more very happy to spend time with you. It was a real treat for us staying in a real home after weeks of motels, backpacking places and small rooms. It was extremely well stocked up with everything you could possibly wish for, a comfy bed, good shower, etc. Lovely location just a couple of minutes walk from the beach and a bit longer into town. Thank you!
