This is the place if you like nature! It is a birds paradise. Best place, just to sit on the balcony and watch - and Ravindu knows them all. Further more we saw: peackocks, many different storchs, crocodiles, wild boar, elefant. The room and the bathroom were spotless clean, ac and van working well. Ravindu did everything to make sure we had a great stay. If you stay there take breakfast and dinner, it is delicious! This was the best fish curry we had on our one month travel around Sri Lanka! cooked by Ravindu's mother. If you need anything else, there is a small shop just next door. Also TukTuks are available. This place is really highly recommended.

It has everything you want in a five star resort. Kids slide is fun for kids up til 8-10 years old. The beach is beautiful but even when we there in April the current was so strong that is was prohibited to go into the water. We had half board and the buffet in the evening was actually really really good. Lots of variety every day. We were there for 6 days. Often these all you can eat buffet is not that great even in a 5 star hotel, but this was really good. Staff was very friendly.

Beautiful resort Everything was excellent, the stuff were kind and helpful, the room was big with a lake view , the food was great And of course the fact that there were so many animals and birds just walking around , Great experience we also gave food to the elephants We enjoyed it so much !

Absolutely amazing experience with Nehansa Resort. The owners shown us very special attention, they took us from the bus stop, organised a special little tour for us to see the sunset and birds, gave us great recommendations what to do around, helped with the laundry very quickly:) When we came at the reception they welcomed us with fresh coconut juice, so I can definitely say that their service is of the highest quality. We took safari tour with them, only the best recommendations as well. The room was very clean and cosy, it had AC and all the other things needed. The area around is beautiful, there is a cosy garden around the room. At the resort they also suggest a lot or food options for decent prices. Whenever I’m back to area,I will come here.

One of our favorite place in Sri Lanka. When arrived, we stayed two hours looking at all the animals and the birds by the lake, the sunset was beautiful. The little cabanas are so cute and nothing was missing. Finally, the whole family is so welcoming, we really enjoyed the dinner and the time spent with them.

Beautiful accommodation with very spacious rooms. The host was lovely and very helpful at all times. He cooked amazing food for us and organised the whole Yala Safari. We will definitely come back and can recommend the Guest House to anyone!
