we really enjoyed our stay. the interior was picked tastefully. the couch was especially comfortable for being so pleasant to look at. big fan of functional graceful and timeless design. it even turns into a far above average mattress. wish i had a sofa like this at home. :) there could easily and comfortably fit 4 people into one standard double room thanks to this couch. we were only two. we only tried the couch as a bed because unfortunately even though the tv is mounted on an arm it can not be turned enough to make an in bed tv session possible. the bathroom is spacious and practical. the view over akureyri makes it even more enjoyable to stay at hotel halond. the organic shower lotion and shampoo were a well appreciated detail. the room temperature was easy to adjust. all in all i will recommend the hotel to family and friends. an early check in was possible which was awesome. takk fyrir mig.

Lovely apartment in Akureyri, close to everything downtown. Clean, modern, spacious interior with a well-appointed kitchen. They even had a free washer/dryer for guests to use, which was a welcome surprise.

The hotel is placed on the hill viewing directly to the Fjord of Akureyri. The rooms has very big windows and you can view the planes landing and leaving on the airport. The breakfast was very good and a lot of parking spaces

Very big farm ,from the room you can see the city and the sea , decorations is nice !if the weather is good you can see the northern lights form the tower top. Have few people but the breast is prepared good

The apartment is super welcoming and bright, feels like home. The kitchen is well equipped, the bed was super comfortable and we really appreciates having the washing+drying machine. The position of the apartment is also great on the harbour where the whale watching operators are, and great also to start a good walk into the town of Akureyri.

This is a unique property. The house is beautiful inside and out and has absolutely everything you might need for a comfortable and luxurious stay. Heiodis met us on arrival and showed us everything in the house. We had a great stay here, cooking in the very well equipped kitchen, barbecuing, enjoying the hot tub and sleeping very well.
