It was wonderful. The beautiful, quiet location really suited us and the stylish contemporary decoration - made it really comfortable. All the facilities were great. Due to the Northern areas of Sikkim being closed we ended up spending 9 nights here in total and enjoyed the pool, the wonderful treatments from Pubyang in the Spa, the dining end evening entertainment in between our excursions. So many fantastic staff, starting with Kishan the duty manager who I spoke to from the UK. He reassured me that their tour guide could handle the pick up from Bagdogra and arrange a driver for all our planned locations. Their in-house tour manager, Sangay Sherpa was amazing, super efficient and took care of all of our transportation needs. He hired the fabulous Praveen Subba who drove us the entire trip, sharing his extensive knowledge and ensuring that as two women travellers we felt completely safe at all times. He’s a star! So many other wonderful staff especially Mingma who prepared the traditional Sikkimese breakfast for us most mornings and Veronica one of the reception managers. The whole team strove to make sure our experience was the best it could be. We very much hope to return.

The property is a hidden gem amidst the serene pine forests. At the same time, they have international level standards and service is quite prompt. Everyone in the property were helpful and was at your service on time! The nature around and within the property is breathtaking indeed! Our room had an adjoining terrace that overlooked the beautiful Kanchenzongha! There’s a small shack just outside the hotel where you can get almost anything and everything! The property Manager Shubham had been quite helpful and was also guiding us the way since the start. Everything went smooth and I would visit again for sure

The hosts were exceptionally sweet and helpful. They took care of all our needs. Scrumptious food served every day. Rooms were nice and clean. Darjeeling is cold but we were provided with room heaters and additional blankets. In my opinion the homestay was worthy of a 10/10 rating. Darjeeling is a cold place but all the people here and the service at Donna’s homestay made it a warm experience for us.

Property is absolutely amazingly located with an amazing river and Mountain View. Sunset is the highlight from the balconies and restaurants. Although understaffed, those present are very warm and cooperative. They helped us with everything. Hotel room is impeccably made with international standard. Entire property is green and very clean. Food is also well made, buffet breakfast is satisfying with Indian and English options.
