We had a wonderful two-night stay at Giagia Evgenia in the beautiful Epirus mountains of Greece. The accommodation itself is a charming, well-kept building with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, perfectly matching the surrounding landscape. Our host was incredibly attentive and thoughtful, making us feel right at home. The views are simply stunning, and we loved being within walking distance of local restaurants while still enjoying the peace of the mountains. Just a 15-minute drive brought us to the breathtaking panorama of Vikos Gorge. The nearby villages, rich in ancient traditions, made the experience truly unforgettable.

Beautiful historic hotel in an absolutely stunning location! The rooms are clean and comfortable with wonderful views, the staff are friendly and helpful and the dining area out the front is spectacular. Vitsa is one of the smaller, quieter villages in the region, but this adds to its charm. The homemade breakfasts are very good too!

This is a beautifully renovated pristine set of rooms with hand painted ceilings and lovely bathrooms. Location is steps from an excellent taverna, the Epirus walking trail to Astraka hut, and the village park lot - yet it is very quiet. Dimitrios was a wonderful host, helping us clarify our hiking trail, giving us food for our packed lunches, bringing us afternoon coffee and cakes on the pretty garden patio Breakfast is plentiful and coffee is good. We now recommend this place to other walkers.

Wonderful family run hotel on top of the mountain so great view from the room is guaranteed. It is very clean and maintained and the staff is extremely friendly . The breakfast with view over the valley Is great. And after a trip or hike in the mountains you can enjoy a drink next to the fireplace. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed every moment .

Everything! the bed is so comfortable, the view is amazing with a privet balcony, the room is very clean and the breakfast is rich and very tasty and also has gluten free options. Outstanding service! Christos Helped us with everything we needed, sat down and explained to us about the area and helped us plan our stay here. The atmosphere and the place are really pleasant, very clean, the beds are comfortable. A very nice breakfast, handmade pastries, cheese, sausage, bread, butter and eggs. A lovely experience at the Meliteion. The hosts are so welcoming and friendly. The room is really comfortable and decorated in warm and relaxing tones. I arrived late afternoon and got great advice to hike up to the highest point in the village and watch the sun set over the mountains. Stunning. Great breakfast! Thank you, I will return.
