For the price you pay, you easily accept the fact that the hotel has had it's heyday a while ago. Friendly staff, a complete breakfast and the quirky architecture made it perfect for two sunny days in Puerto de las Nieves. On top of that there is free parking space, which is very useful in this place.

Exclusive, luxurious, modern hotel. A real retreat and a real treat. At first glance looks like a typical pack em in Spanish hotel but it’s not. It’s exclusive because there are no kids allowed, it’s a bit expensive (but worth it), it is in fact a great piece of stylish modern architecture, with lovely ample rooms and effective air con, great helpful friendly staff with high standards throughout, superb breakfasts, great swimming pool and loved the spa (worth every penny @€20 a go), spectacular rooftop bar and exclusive also because Puerto de Nieves is far from the madding crowds. So away from it all and yet a short walk from the hotel to the charcos (natural sea swimming pools) and harbour (to harbour 15 or so mins on foot and a bit a of a steep path but very do-able and easy under foot). Can’t comment on full board, we ate out at night at the harbour restaurants which were great, plenty of the very best of fresh fish there. I’d recommend a room which is both sea view and pool view above ground floor. Ground floor / poolside (for me) lacks privacy.

We were 2nd time here, and loved it again. In case you expect a sterile impersonal apartment, this is not your place. The owners keep there many personal things, but it is not disturbing, it makes a feel like at home. The location is superb. The view from the terrace is unbeatable. It is great to wait there the sunset with a glass of wine. Agaete is a windy place, but the terrace is in the wind shadow. Very quiet location, so the the neighbours are, we appreciated it! The kitchen is well equipped. Internet is fast. The bed in the sleeping room is comfortable. We shall return for sure!

The place was very neat and modern — super comfortable and well-equipped with everything we needed. The host was absolutely lovely, kind, and incredibly attentive, which made our stay even better. My friend and I went on a Camino, and it was the perfect place to relax afterward. The pool and large hangout area were great for unwinding. I 100% recommend this place — it truly made our trip awesome!

We were 2nd time here, and loved it again. In case you expect a sterile impersonal apartment, this is not your place. The owners keep there many personal things, but it is not disturbing, it makes a feel like at home. The location is superb. The view from the terrace is unbeatable. It is great to wait there the sunset with a glass of wine. Agaete is a windy place, but the terrace is in the wind shadow. Very quiet location, so the the neighbours are, we appreciated it!
