THis facility is EXCELLENT!!! What a dream of a place to relax and vacation. Mother Nature provided rain for many days but we were comfortable, well taken are of and enjoyed the clean indoor pool and sauna. Gorgeous grounds, fantastic breakfast and afternoon "Kaffee und Kuchen" with delights backed by Margareta (the owner) herself. This is a family operated hotel and restaurant and we were truly spoiled. They all went above and beyond helping us (when our rental car would not start), catered to our needs for our 93 year old mother and were always kind, friendly and accommodating. The restaurant on the property called the Mostschenke im Heustadl and provides a five star Austrian experience in dining. The family has been on this property since the 1600's and have up-dated and built the hotel in the last ten - twelve years. The Mostschenke is the renovated cattle barn and it a delightful venue for dining. The Hotel is clean, bright and the two bedroom chalet suite is a dream for a family vacation. A perfect getaway location. Everything is thoughtfully designed and created with purpose. The rooms are cozy, the breakfast was incredible, and the town feels like it’s straight out of a postcard. The cocktails in the bar were some of the best we’ve had!

A beautiful apartment with everything you could need. The little deck was a bonus and you have views over the rooftops to the lake. The complex was secure and safe. There was nothing that we didn’t like. Highly recommend it. It was a nice walk around to Gmunden which took about 45 minutes.

Great location to take daytrips in Salzkammergut by car. The apartment is comfy and clean, it is simple yet it has a welcoming ambient. We loved that it is closer to nature, instead of being right in the center. We'd return without any hesitation. We received a great guide via email before arrival so we could easily find the building and check in ourselves.
