Сool little town with friendly people, different restaurants and cafes, big and small shops, great food market, marina and promenade by the sea. I recommend for a couple of days, also to visit the thermal springs in the mountains once. Get to Yalova by ferry from Istanbul in 1.5 hours. It seemed like a good place to be.. there was cheap transport wid variety of places to eat.. the Mrs was pleased with the shops and tbe kids were pleased with the entertainment available.. the city appeared to be a safe place for families and children. Their was a forgotten sock in the cabinet, the TV was not working and when asked for it to be fixed it took around 6 hours. Staff are not friendly or helpful. At first I thought it was a scam 😅 but then I recognized that there’s another Lagun hotel. The staff is very friendly, the food is average but good. They have a rooftop with an amazing view if you go there in the morning. The room was clean and comfortable. No parking, area but you can park in the street in front of the hotel.

The massage service is pretty good, around 30euros for 50 min full body. Breakfast and dinner were tasty, a wide choice of dishes and a magnificent view on the area from the 5th floor of the restaurant. Would definitely return here again.

All the food and alcoholic drink in the hotel very affortable and you do not have to go out to have a better view and drink something, hotel gives all opportunities.
