It was not easy to get around Izmir as there were not signs in English. And there were not booklets in English for tourists to be well oriented in the city.
We enjoyed the boat trip and walked along the seaside.

So many things to see on day trips from the area: Ephesus, Pamukkale and Hieropolis, Cesme, etc. What's left of old part of town is worth a visit as are the remains of the ancient Greco-Roman town (though a lot is currently closed off). Much of the city by the water is 'new' because of the destruction of the 1922 fire, which is sad. But a great experience overall (even the taxi drivers are nice and honest, and the weather was much better than in Istanbul). Definitely want to go back.

Also very interesting part is Dario Moreno street where you have very nice bars and nightlife. At the end you can rich with elevator to the top restaurant with magnificent view of the city.
Appeared to good hotel which was a surprise for me, as I tried many hotels in Izmir, this one is really one of the best.
Veeery friendly stuff and very helpful.
Free Parking for cars availabe
Breakfast was more or less ok
Quite clean in rooms , which in Turkey especially in Izmir , is a very rare indeed, bed linen , towels were clean, although there was a well seen dust on the lampshades and some other surfaces , and not all bulbs worked in lamps
Nice modern design in the room
Compliment water in room was renewed every day
If you are travelling from Izmir airport, this hotel is the best option! To enter the hotel, you need to follow the way to the airport into “Dis Hatlar”, and the entrance is at the very beginning. As soon as you enter the hotel you are welcomed and greeted by staff and the help you immediately. To get to international or domestic terminals, it is just an elevator ride and 2 min walk inside the airport!
Not to mention, the hotel is very clean and spacious. Also the wifi works very well! I would highly recommend this hotel!
The hotel is located in a fantastic area close to around 400 restaurants, bars and cafes.
The railway station is a 5 minute walk, the Izmir clock tower is a 3-4 km walk & the bus station can be reached in 10 minutes by car.
If you want to visit Ephesus ruins & house of Virgin Mother Mary the Hay Hotel is the best place to stay because it is so easy to get to the train station and then get to Ephesus.
You can also get to the hotel seamlessly from the airport by taking the train at Adnan Menderes station to Alsancak.
The hotel is nearby the bazaar market. You have to go through a fish market, which made me surprise the first time, but we got used to it. The hotel has an amiable staff. One of the workers, Turker, helped us to plan our two days in Izmir. Make sure you have time to see Virgin Mary’s home, where she lived her last few years. The Ephesus was also unforgettable. Turker was sweet and friendly and even taught us a new game on the Backgammon Board. We had so much fun, even though the weather wasn't the best. Thank you!
Visited Izmir for work and had the weekend prior to my meeting the hotel was ideally situated.
The rooms were very comfortable though not really suited for work no desk. The room is provided with a rolling table next to the bed.
Staff went out of their way to make sure my trip was pleasant. Managed to do all my laundry even though it was a weekend which is no mean feat nowadays!
The rooms look even better than shown in the pictures. It was an amazing hotel with clean and perfect rooms. The washrooms and shower were so good. The staff of the hotel was really nice and helpful. As for the location, it’s close to almost every one of Izmir’s landmarks. You can walk to Alsancak, kardonboyu, Kemaralti market, Konak Square, etc. 10/10 for me in every aspect.
The hotel is near Metro station and the sea side.Bazar and Agora tourist places. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The food of breakfast and dinner are delicious. The wifi is good speed. The price is good and cheap than others. The room is quite big and modern design. The bed very comfort. The room service is good. I will be come again when I visit Izmir.
A super hotel with the super staff! Clean and comfortable rooms, very tasty breakfast and helpful staff. Thank you Emrah and Mehmet for your help in searching interesting places to visit and in making my accommodation more comfortable. Looking forward to visit Izmir one more time and to stay at this hotel! Wish you all the best and more happy guests!

The service and facilities were exceptional, the staff were super friendly especially Beyza who helped us navigate Izmir and made us feel right at home.
We also traveled with an 8 month old and it was a lovely touch they include a baby care kit which I haven’t seen at any hotel before. Well done Marriott, we hope to be back again!
The view is great, the breakfast is excellent, the staff is excellent, location near excellent restaurants, many thanks to everyone.
Very convenient parking, the hotel is 100 meters from the lovely sea.
A highly recommended hotel, our first time in Izmir and we will definitely come back to visit a great and wonderful city.
We are happy to stay in a real hotel with large room, comfortable beds, and proper bathroom, after staying in family hotels for a few weeks, while traveling around Greece and Turkey. We also like its location next to the train station. We took the train to Cappadocia, Ephesus, and the airport. It's very convenient.
Everything was perfect, literally perfect. They made my first experiende in Turkey unforgettable. The cleanest hotel I've stayed in so far. The food was extremely delicous and the staff very friendly and helpfull in all ways. The location of the hotel is superb; you will enjoy your stay there always, in all ways.
Breakfast was good. If you are traveling with a car you have a free parking in front of the hotel. The room was really nice and clean. Even you are in the center of Izmir, the hotel is well soundproof
Our stay was amazing. Loved the location and the staff were amazingly helpful. The room was exceptional in every way. I will stay at the Key Hotel again on my next trip to Izmir!
Hotel is a new one, staff and all service is great, taking into account that hotel is located 5-10 mins by taxi from Izmir Airport, very close to Optimum Outlet
We stayed at this hotel during our group tour to Izmir. Everything was great. Hotel manager Mr. Mesut always took care of us and met all our necessary needs.
