We booked a family room and a double room for 2 nights at Kaani Grand Seaview, but we were pleasantly upgraded to Kaani Palm Beach, which we found quite good. The rooms are spacious and clean, with a nice sea view. This is the perfect location to stay in Maafushi. They also offer many tour packages and ferry services.
Facing the beachfront, Triton Prestige Seaview and Spa offers 4-star accommodation in Maafushi and features a fitness centre, garden and shared lounge.

I really enjoyed my stay at Triton Prestige... it was amazing 4 unforgettable days at Maafushi! The staff was very helpful, the room was outstanding... the swimming pool had an amazing view. Great shower, great location! I'd definitely stay there again!

I really liked the atmosphere on Maafushi, very chilled, I wasn't constantly harassed by people trying to get me to eat in their restaurants. I found the island very quiet and peaceful but I was there out of season and I suspect it can get much busier.

The trips on offer are spectacular.
The trips on offer are spectacular. I would advise you understand the type of boat you are going on and check the weather. Salt Beach do fabulous trips and the guys on the boats are great.
We did have a trip with 'Maldivian Fellows' I was very disappointed with this one as they didn't have watchers looking at the people in the water and showed no encouragement to people that were a little nervous like 'Salt Beach' guys
We did the parasailing which was fabulous. We booked this with the guys next to the bikini beach and they were great.
Ive been to the island 5 times now and love its rustic charm although it is getting busier.
I can highly recommend the 'Juice Vibe' for the best coffee and juices. There are lots of restaurants to choose from, my favourites are 'Moonlight' which is situated at the opposite end to bikini beach and the Indian restaurant next to the Kanni hotel. Some of the washroom facilities are not so clean so always carry tissues with you.

People of Maafushi treat you based on the following: if you are white-skinned and living in a resort, you get the best treatments. After that, white-skinned, then brown-skinned in the resort, and the rest are treated like they don't belong in their precious land. Their definition of hospitality means you are meant to agree and not counter when they suggest something. If you have a different opinion, you are rude and disrespectful. The nature is unparalleled, but the locals have a long way to go to learn hospitality.

It is a very beautiful small island with very warm and hospitable people. With azure water and golden beaches. Prices are very affordable, there are several good restaurants.
It was impossible to swim because there are many reefs in the water inside and we caught our feet many times, which is why we could not go into deep water, and near the shore there is waist-deep water. No one has informed us about this. The hotel must inform the guests about such details in advance.
It would be good if there would be a bridge for those who want to swim in deep water, which would give them the opportunity to go directly into deep water.

Public island - so no alcohol/ all inclusive plush.
Public island - so no alcohol/ all inclusive plush. The island is small, had good snorkeling, small shops, restaurants and bikini beach! Everyone is friendly and want to make sure you have a good time. Many options to rent water crafts, fun water sport items. Many excursions that give you exactly as they are advertise. A short trip by boat from Male makes it convienent - not have to spend all day getting to your hotel.
Triton Prestige is a great hotel and I strongly recommend everyone to go! The amazing staff they have, offering their support to whoever needed it, the food excellent, having everyday something new Maldivian dish for you to try, and the cleanliness in the hotel was top notch!
Not to mention the walking distance to the beach, quiet island and the numerous activities Triton Prestige tours can offer! I have no regrets for choosing them and if I return to the Maldives I would most likely choose them again! Well done!
I had an incredible time at this hotel! The service was outstanding - definitely 5 stars! The breakfast options were varied and enjoyable, setting a great tone for the day. The staff truly went above and beyond, especially Rakib, who made our stay exceptional. From assisting with our bags to providing island information and organizing excursions, Rakib's dedication ensured we had more time to relax and enjoy our vacation to the fullest. Highly recommended for a fantastic experience!
Kaani is a chain of hotels in Maafushi, Perfect location one step away from the beach. Housekeeping is good daily cleaning and changing of towels and bedding. Separate towels for beach and chairs available at the beach for Kaani guests. Most of the hotel staff are good, special thanks to Mr.Tiger for his service. Bit disappointed with breakfast everyday almost same stuff. Overall not bad .....I will recommend this property .
Couple who runs the hotel is very supportive and tries to grab best value pack for other activities on maafushi and nearby islands. They even provided life jackets and snorkeling set for free use. We enjoyed scuba, parasailing, kayaking, snorkeling, jet skiing, at their care off!! There is also small fridge inside room, so you can keep all your eateries bought from hotel or supermarket
The hotel is 20 meters from the bikini beach in the best location on the island. All shops and restaurants are around the hotel. The food is excellent (we had half board). The staff is very friendly (Special thanks to Bahar who was a great friend and helped us with everything we were interested in). We even had a sea view from our terrace (between the two rows of the hotels).
Visal, the manager was extremely helpful from the time of check-in to check-out.
The front desk staff were polite and professional.
Maafushi is a really happening place, lot of locals and tourists, beautiful beaches. There's a lot of water sports centers, hotels, good joints, scuba diving center. Basically if you love having an active holiday, this is the place for you.
The Maafushi Island is very small, so almost all the hotels there has good view and next to beach, this hotel has nothing which can make you happy or likable considering that all the Hotels has beach and good location. Breakfast was good but not excellent. The location may attract as it is next to beach about 30-50 mts, and have good view during 10-5 PM.
The hotel location is right next to the bikini beach. Breakfast was great, dinner was good too. Cozy room, beautiful view and of course Maafushi island has a lot to offer. Thanks to all the staffs, Mr Kader, Indah (restaurant waitress) and others.
Most budget friendly hotel in Maafushi Island. The staffs were great and they helped us in all the activities we did in Maafushi Island. It's not a beach side stay but if you are looking for a good and budget stay; this is the best option.
Nice budget hotel in the local island Maafushi right in front of the port in the Maldives, staff was friendly and hard to communicate at some times, not the top hotel but definitely a budget one to save some bucks while in the Maldieves
I love the hotel, nice staffs, most wonderful staff is Rakib 💯 he is super friendly and he took me in tour around the island he helped me very much and I really enjoyed my stay in the hotel & will comeback for sure ☺️☺️👍👍
The staff are really nice and helpful. The room is clean with good balcony space. The beach is right in front of the hotel. The whole island is walkable the supermarket is 3 min walk and many restaurants around the beach.
Good Buffet Breakfast and dinner with tasty Food, Traditional Maldivian house guesthouse, for me this was better than normal Hotels. Friendly staff. Hotel is near the beach. Hotel was providing free Sunbeds.
We loved everything about our stay here. Beautiful views of the harbor and sunset. Clean and comfortable room. The staff were friendly, helpful and willing to please. A budget hotel that is worth the money.
The guest house was good overall
The owner ahmed was kind
He was present at the Maafushi port to pick me up
The location is good and the island is small so everything is without a 10 minutes walk
